Iberostar snorkeling

We are new at snorkeling and are wondering if it is even worth it to bring our snorkeling stuff and try it from the beach? We understand the water isnt very clear but would we see anything?

There's some off shore tours you can take right from the beach. Like marrieta islands. But not much to look at right at shore

We are here right now and the ocean has been very clear with quite a few fish swimming around us. If I had known I would have brought down a mask and snorkell. That said, the tours would be your best bet

Plenty of fish by the reef at the south end of the beach but this is a surf beach so exercise extreme caution if you enter the water near these rocks when the surf is running

Happy to hear :)

I would have brought my mask and snorkel down if I had known how clear the water was and how many fish were there.

How did you like the resort?

We loved it as always but thought the food and drink was not as good as in the past. That said, we didn't starve and had a great vacation.
