Downtown Mt Airy has several nice antique shops. The town is fun- themed around Mayberry since Andy Griffith was born there. Right up HIghway 52 in Cana, VA ( a few miles) is a big flea market on the weekends.

Be sure to grab a famous pork chop sandwich at Snappy Lunch in Mt. Airy - and visit the new Andy Griffith Museum while there.

Best wishes.
