best place for one night stay

We will be traveling from Pittsburgh, pa to Isle of Palms (Charleston area), SC. We will be coming in on 77 S. What's the best place to stay with easiest access and on and off the interstate . We will have a 7 month old with us.

Nice area just north of Charlotte is exit 25 in Huntersville. Several chain hotels, restaurants, shopping and easy access to the interstate. (Holiday Inn Express, Country Inn and Suites, Courtyard by Marriott).

If you want to stop just before Charlotte, try the Hilton Garden Inn in Rock Hill- just off I-77 and near a good shopping area with several restaurants.

Exit 25 at Huntersville has plenty of hotels but is crowded and congested. Exit 23 has a brand new Hampton Inn and Suites and a new Comfort Suites. Basic fast food, a decent Mexican restaurant (Chico's), Italian (Romenello's) and a seafood restaurant (Captains Galley).
