GSMRail Peanuts Pumpkin Patch trip-is it worth it?

We are planning a trip up to the smokies for a few days as an extension to our Florida trip at the end of October.

We wanted to do the train ride on GSMR but the only trip available in October are the Halloween pumpkin trips. Yes, we have a 4yr old but can anyone tell us actually how much time is spent on the train please?

Have emailed GSMR but they havn't replyed.

Also-we have booked into the yurts for two nights at Falling rivers but can anyone recommend a stop off point for our first night en route from Atlanta up to Bryson?

Any other 'must see's' appreciated.

Thanks from us gratefull Brits

Decided against it as we found out that the trip is just 15min each way.

Opted instead for the Nantahala Gorge trip which we enjoyed.
