Stay at the Beech Village

Can anyone recommend a place to stay at the foot of Beech Mountain. We want to ski for a few hours and easily go back inside. We have small children.

There is the Best Western Mountain Village that is close. Bestwesternbannerelk.com

I am not familiar with either.

The Best Western is not close....it is down the mountain in Banner Elk about 6 miles away. There are only a few ski in ski out accomodations at Beech, primarily houses along the slopes. I've never stayed in one....I've always been concerned about the noise from snow blowers all night long.

So, you will drive to and from the slope. Most people rent condos or houses. The two hotels are the Beech Alpen Inn and Four Seasons at Beech...they are as close as anything. The Pinnacle is a large condo complex that is close. Look at a map of the location of the slope....parking is at the bottom of the lift adjacent to the small village.
