Travelling solo this coming July . Firstly can some one suggest a hotel in the region of €100/night right in the action ? I am not into full inclusives / Packages , maybe B&b only , so to base myself close to restaurants and eateries is a must . I like some bar hopping as well so thats a big bonus to be next door . I dont mind walking 15 minutes or so if streets are safe .

With regards to the beach/water quality , being an avid swimmer i enjoy long swims but obviously have no idea about currents there or if its possible ( danger from jetskis etc ) , I swim like 2k daily not just the snorkel type . If thats not inviting enough I can pay more for accomodation and go for a hotel with big pool .
