Hello ... I am staying in Pereybere soon and will probably eat out in Grand Baie during the evenings .. I understand the buses finish quite early so I wanted to get a rough idea on how much a taxi would cost back to Pereybere and where the taxi stands are in Grand Baie? ... Thanking you in advance

We are not adverse to walking so would you say it is safe to walk back to Pereybere at night ... are there pavements,lighting etc?
We need to walk back close to Winners Supermarket and roughly how long would it take at a fairly leisurely pace?

Near Winners?
You shouldn't walk from Grand Baie to Pereybere at night. There are no sidewalks and limited in non-existent street lighting in some places.
Yes we are staying just up from Winners ... so walking is unadvisable and I guess the alternative walking route will be very dark indeed!! ... Looks like it will be taxis for us not unless we discover some nice reasonably priced bars and restaurants in Pereybere area ....
