I cannot recall the price.

The normal Grand Baie to Port Louis bus can take 70 minutes to 90 minutes journey time depending on traffic. It also seems to stop every few minutes.

The Express bus is significantly quicker as it has fewer stops.

I had a look on the timetable Bronia sent above, it should be a bus with no other stops and should be about 30min ride... Neverthelsess thank you both...I will check the actual price when there and post here the Info, might be more people intrested in using this bus.

The journey time is actually 25 minutes. I havent used it at all but my husband has a couple of times. He cant recall the fare but said its peanuts.

OK, I am in Mauritius now and could check with them directy. The bus runs every 30 min and the price is 37 rupies and this bus is much newer than the normal busses. Moreover it stops by the SSR botanical garden as well (tthis is the only other stop it does), so you can visit, in an inexpensive way, the garden and the Sugar Adventure -which is located just on the other side of the round about-and you can do this half day tour in your own pace. If you choose to do that though, be very carful crossing the road there. No pavements or traffic lights for pedestrians available.
