Public transport from Buffalo Airport to Niagara Falls Ontar

We are flying into Buffalo Airport for a 3 night stay at the Embassy Suites Fallsview Blvd, Canada side of the border. Can anyone please advise me on the best way that two of us can get from the airport to the hotel - other than the hotel's 'recommended' limmo service?!!

Thank you fallsdude, that information is very helpful, we are planning to get from the airport on the NFTA route 210. I suppose my question is now is it relatively easy for two 'seniors' to get from either the Rainbow Bridge drop off or the following Terminus up to the Embassy Suites, is it within walking distance with carry on cabin bags, is there anything we need to watch out for going through customs, or do we catch a cab from somewhere?

Grateful for any advice.

Hi Ken-in-Florida;

The walk from the Rainbow Bridge to your hotel is approx. 1.5 miles, and part of it is uphill. I would suggest getting a taxi once you cross the bridge.

For any further questions about the Canadian side, please post them on the Niagara Falls Canada forum, which Fallsdude linked to above.

Best Regards

Note also that from the bus drop off point (Niagara and 1st Streets), across the Rainbow Bridge, and to the Crowne Plaza hotel where you can get a taxi, is a little over 1/2 mile. If that is too far of a walk, you can get a taxi on the U.S. side that will take you across the border and to the Embassy. Cost would depend on how busy the border is and how long it takes to clear customs. Could end up being anywhere from $25-$60 or more.

Jewel of Niagara (http://www.jewelofniagara.com/transportation/) offers door to door airport transfer for $80CAD flat rate each way, might be worth considering.
