Seen this posted last night on LVA, didn't see it posted here after searching...

Bradley Ogden at Caesars Palace will close mid-October to make way for Gordon Ramsay's new "gastropub."

Have always enjoyed Bradley Ogdens, kinda sad to see it go.Had a great meal with my Mom after a show there and it has excellent memories for that alone...

Never been a fan of Gordon Ramsay's shows on TV so not sure what to expect. And the term "Gastropub" doesn't make me wanna go running to try it out when it opens.....

So last chance to dine at Bradley Ogden's is just a few weeks away...

So another top end restaurant closes, to be replaced by a cheaper option. Not one of the better trends I've seen. There should be room for both.

Las Vegas is trying once again to adjust to the changing Las Vegas visitor. I understand, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Uh oh, we better get over there ASAP because we keep saying we're going to try the lounge food. Thanks for posting.

Frankly, I am pretty excited by the news. Though I loved Ogden's place (only ate there once) I have been waiting years for Ramsey to open a joint on the strip. I ain't a huge fan of most of his TV work..BUT, he is an incredible chef and his restaurants (at least the ones I have been to) are incredible in every way from food to decor to atmosphere. I imagine this one will be a high-end English pub styled place with some incredible takes on pub fare.

I doubt it will be much less expensive than Ogdens (and Lord knows there are plenty of expensive places on the strip...still trying to swallow the price for Robuchen's menu digestion at MGM...planning on trying it one of these days.)

Ramsey sometimes get a bad rap for the TV work...but visit one of his places...dine there...and you will remember it very positively.

Wow, that's three restaurant changes announced at Caesars in the last few months. Oh, make that four. Isn't Nobu coming to CP also? That's pretty high-end, isn't it? Lots of changes. Thanks for the info.

It's not really a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. He's the "creative consultant" and stamping his name on it, but won't be involved in the day to day operation of it, like he is with his places in the UK. Same with the steakhouse he's opening at Paris. CET is cashing in on his celebrity name (as is Ramsay).

That said, I ate at Gordon Ramsay at the London in NYC (when he was still involved) and at his place at Claridge's and they were both remarkable. The man can cook, what you see on TV in the US is just histronics.
