I stayed in a North Tower Grand Suite and it was a huge disappointment. It was incredibly outdated, had many maintaince issues (like running toilets and noisy heaters) and was ridiculously overpriced for the quality of what we received. Was supposed to stay three nights, checked out after the first night and went to The Hotel and got a gorgeous suite for about a third less.

I wrote a detailed review in Dec 2009, but for somereason I cannot cut and paste the link. If you are paying a nominal upgrade charge, then give it a try. If you are spending decent money you will do better elsewhere. Good Luck

Obviously they use the term "Grand Suite" for many categories of rooms. The first poster had a vastly different experience than I did. This inconsistency of experiences lead to difficult decision making.

I must have been in the South Tower Grand Suites then. There is no way that my suite would have been anything less than incredible for anyone who had been there. I wasn't too familiar with Bally's when I booked, so I'm not too certain of the details, but the room and hallways seemed very nice, clean, and updated!

I apologize for the confusion, but after reviewing the info online, I'm certain that I was in the north tower. I guess that I haven't been much help afterall.
