There is a GREAT restaurant that does have fixed prices. I think it's Spanish cuisine. It's called Rey de la hamburguesa.

A lot of the high end restaurants will do a very reasonable tasting menu at fixed prices($100-$200),with wine pairings only adding $95-$150 to the bill, these prices are per person of course.

I would agree with the previous poster about Rosemary's. I've had both lunch and dinner there and they were both fantastic.

Check their promos - for dinner Weds nights ladies get 50% off their food bill. Weekdays they have a coupon for a $20 3 course lunch. www.rosemarysrestaurant.com/promotions.htm

Both times I was there (Sept 2006 and Feb 2007) we had fantastic servers that really added to our experience.

Rosemary's is off the strip, so it's only really feasible if you have a car. Our first time there we were able to rent a car for one day for about $16. Since we got into town around noon, picked up the car, freshened up, and then had dinner at Rosemary's that night it worked out really well. Taxi fare from the airport to our hotel alone would have been comparable in price. We were able to turn the car in at Paris, so we didn't have to go back to the airport.

Alex, located in Wynn, only has options of a prix fixe meal and their tasting menu. The price for prix fixe was $145 and the tasting menu was $195. Quite pricey but their tasting menu was really good and I wasn't the one paying. ;-)

Daniel Boulud Brasserie also had prix fixe menu of three courses for $48, which was uotp either 7 or 8 pm.

Wing Lei, also at Wynn, had a tasting menu for something like $130. I had their Peking Duck five courses dinner though, which was $78. It's a really good Chinese restaurant that is under appreciated in my opinion.

But my favorite tasting menu is from L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, in MGM. It's Asian inspired French cuisine and something like $100 for 8 or 9 courses.
