SASAN GIR : How many GIR Forest Trails permits to be taken

Hi : We are going to SASAN GIR for 2 days in Jan 2020.

Request to know :

A) How many trips are worth to be taken : GIR JUNGLE TRAIL : Is 1 tour of 3 hours enough or generally it is better to take at least 2 if not more ?

B) If we decide to take 2 trips, do we need to take 2 permits ?

C) Are the tours worthy to spend Rs 2500 approx which is the permit cost and gypsy cost for a group of 3 ?

D) Can we share gypsy cost with other group, since we are only 3 ?

E) Anyone would recommend DEVALIA gypsy or Bus ride ?

A - Depends on you to take how many safaris, you can take one also and more if you desire but in general one safari is good.

B - Two permits are needed for Two Safaris.

C - The tours are very professional with guide who explains the area, ecosystems and Lion Habits and apart from Lions many other animals and birds are also spotted sometimes.

D - Yes gypsy pooling can be done on the spot and it is advised to reach the spot at reporting time.

E - Devaliya safari park has lions in captivity in open fenced area so lioin sighting is guaranteed whereas in Gir Junge Trail you go deep into the natural habitat of Lions.
