Puerto Vallarta or Los Cabos for travel with a 3 year old?

Hi, we Are looking to book a trip for April 2019. Our priorities are nice weather, a swimmable beach, and safety. I know that many parts of Los Cabos are not good for swimming, but I have found a few places, such as Medano beach that day swimming is ok. Otherwise considering PV or surrounding areas. We’d like to stay in a nice hotel with a pool. Thanks in advance for suggestions!!

If you're interested in Puerto Vallarta, responses on this Sayulita forum may be very limited or inapplicable.

In order to answer, we're going to need more info from you.

What kind of $$ are you talking about? An unlimited budget? Do you want all-inclusive, or not? Do you want to go at Easter, or is that not a requirement?

Be sure to also post on the Puerto Vallarta forum and good luck with your research!

The Decameron resort in Bucerías is family friendly. The Bahía de Banderas is very large, incorporating many different cities including Puerto Vallarta. Agree with the other responders, narrow down the specific location you would like to explore and go directly to that city’s forum.
