My husband and I are going to Tunica in July for 4 nights, any discount buffets,Coming from Canada...can't wait!
Some of the casinos offer a free or discounted buffet for new player's club members. There are also some things like ladies' days, Sr. citizen's days, etc. I'd suggest checking the individual casino websites for more info on this. One note about this is that Fitz doesn't seem to do a good job keep their website up to date on promos, events, etc., but they have a very active Facebook feed if you're on there and "like" their page.
In addition, its fairly easy to earn comps in Tunica for meals. You won't have to spend a fortune to earn a buffet.
One last note about buffets is that Ballys usually has a dirt cheap offer on their buffet, but, imho, its not worth it even for free. We don't care for Gold Strike's buffet either.
Thanks Deb,much appreciated!
You're so welcome. Have a great trip and good luck!
we are going to Tunica, again, this week. Sam's Town has a buffet special. Tues and Thurs it's $5 off for seniors. Wed. it's $10 with a $10 free play for everyone. I will post about getting those deals. you'll need to check their website for July. also send for the visitor's guide from tunicatravel.com/home
and visit a visitor's center on the north or south when driving there.
From today's Memphis Commercial Appeal:
The 13,500 square-foot Buffet Americana opens May 31 in the Gold Strike Casino, the first new buffet to open in Tunica in almost five years. Word is that this one will be action-station-oriented and will offer numerous ethnic selections including Mongolian barbecue and Indian food cooked in the only tandoori oven in Mississippi. There will also be seafood buffets on Friday and Saturday, brunch on Saturday and Sunday and complimentary beer and wine Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and prices are $10.99 for breakfast, $13.99 for lunch, $20.99 for dinner and brunch, and $25.99 for the seafood buffet. You can dine for free from June 10 to 13 with your M Life card; get a card at Gold Strike."
