Entertainers and Shows

Visiting over Memorial Day. Wondering what websites or other resources we might check to see who is performing or what shows are booked for the long holiday weekend.

You might check out these sites for the Provincetown Business Guild and the Crown and Anchor.

I don't know of an everything-in-one-place site, but you can try www.capecodonline.com/thingstodo. Live music and entertainment availability increases starting Memorial Day Weekend, but it's not quite high season. I don't think any theatres open their season that early. You don't say specifically where you're looking, so here are some places to check out that have regular live music:

Wellfleet- Beachcomber

Brewster-The Woodshed

Chatham- Chatham Squire

Dennis- Sundancer's, Sand Dollar, Improper Bostonian. O'Shea's, Cleat & Anchor

Hyannis- Melody Tent, Trader Ed's, Torino, British Beer Co

Falmouth- Liam Maguires, British Beer Co

Since you posted in the Provincetown forum I naturally assumed that you wanted only Provincetown.

Yes. Thank you. Group of eight in the heart of P-Town. In a house. Walkable is best, I think.

In Provincetown either walking or biking is the best way to get around. But plenty of taxis if you need them.

For entertainment in P'town, look for Provincetown Magazine, a free publication available at many shops around town.

For any other forum readers perusing venue schedules, I also found this direct link to the Ptown Art House (through one of the links provided above, thank you.)

Hello! Scarbie here, entertainer from Provincetown. I will be performing my one person show Lip-Schtick, Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Weekend at 8:30. A fast, funny, inspiring show for all, in its 13th season. Scarbie.com
