Looking for Breakfast place on RT 50

We are going to OC in a couple weeks and are looking for a nice breakfast spot close to 50 after we cross the bay bridge. The past 2 years we have stopped at Bob Evans in Easton, but I just read that it caught fire and was closed. We have 2 kids ages 7 and 4 so we are looking for somewhere that is kid friendly. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

We do the same thing after crossing the bridge. We either hit Panera or Denny's in Easton.

There is also a diner past the Denny's on the left but haven'y tried that place yet.

tfunky, is that Denny’s clean? I was skeptical because I have had bad experiences at other Denny’s in the past.

I go by what my wife says for cleanness and she was happy with the cleanness of that Denny's in Easton.

She is picky so all is good. lol

There is a Cracker Barrel just after you go over the Bay Bridge, before you go over the Kent Narrows bridge. Looking at the map, I think you would need to take Exit 38. It's on the right hand side of Rt. 50 as you head east and you can see it from the road. It's sort of at the end of several strip malls. I've never been inside one so I can't vouch for the food, though I know they are a popular chain.

Easton Diner is what tfunky was referring to. Golden Coral- it serves breakfast doesn't it? Both in Easton.

You're right about Golden Corral. I forgot, they got sued I think.

I can vouch for the Easton Diner. It is privately owned, and very good. Cracker Barrel is just what you would expect, and always seems busy. Easy to miss the exit, but if you do, you can take the next one and go back on the local road . Route 18, I think. Esy to feel your way around, because there's only one main road over there.

I've never been to it but I hear a lot of good things about the cafe at Easton Airport.

Thanks for the suggestions! We will probably do Denny’s or Panera. Depends on what we are in the mood for.
