Need your 2 cents ⛴🚃🚍

Hey Portland peeps , hope you can make suggestions. Arriving Friday August 11 6:30 pm (pwm). Uber to Westin and checkin. We have an 8:30 pm reservation at Emilitsa based on ta reviews, location, and availability. Truth be told I’d rather our first meal in Portland be lobster and corn on the Cobb lol. Should I cancel the reservation and go elsewhere? Sunday August 12 celebrating our 30th anniversary. Doing the 10:30 am-1:30 Culinary walking foodie tour. Can you recommend a hearty breakfast stop prior? Hopping on the 2 pm Fire Engine tour. We have a 7pm res at The Grill Room again based on reviews and availability. This would be our splurge night. Can we do better? Monday Aug 13 thinking about a morning ferry to Peak Island and doing the golf cart tour. Recommendation for casual lunch back in Old Town? Afternoon sightseeing? Dinner ? We check out of the Westin Tuesday August 14 but our flight doesn’t leave until 7pm. Suggestions for sightseeing, meals and getting to our flight on time. A bit about ourselves; we love tours and guides. Husband has a bad back so we love trams and golf carts trolleys etc. Love history, how things are made etc. love interacting with people. Love the water, photography. We love to eat. Seafood, Steakhouses,Casual, fancy it’s all good. Like large portions and quieter restaurants. Like to eat in restaurant that the smart locals enjoy. Sorry this is so detailed. Would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

For a quick breakfast this place is just 4/10 of a mile from your hotel https://www.tandemcoffee.com/pages/bakery and was featured in Bon Appetite's article https:/…portland-maine-city-of-the-year-2018

Also in there is one of my favorite places http://www.forestreet.biz/ For a casual lunch consider eating on Peak's Island where on a clear day you can see Mt. Washington and of course Portland harbor

And be sure to visit the Portland Head Light and Ft. Williams Park and if you see their truck grab some lobster rolls from https://www.biteintomaine.com/

Happy Anniversary!
