Burlington Steamboat Days

Which is the best campground for someone coming from 8 hrs away to stay for the week? Money being tight as it is, want to save as much as possible!!!

Are there art shows/vendors included there?

And hubby LOVES to fish--is there catfish nearby?

Any and All info you can provide is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

There are definitely catfish to catch or order on a menu, whatever your preference. Bag limits: www.iowadnr.gov/fish/regulations/catfish.html Licensing: iowadnr.gov/fish/regulations/licenses.html Articles: iowagameandfish.com/fishing/catfish-fishing/

There is a nice state park, Geode, 15 miles west: iowadnr.gov/parks/state_park_list/geode.html Also, Big Hollow just opened last season: http://www.dmcconservation.com/BH/Page_1.htm I have not camped at either place, those are just the ones I know of!

Maybe try calling the Chamber of Commerce for your other questions?
