Lincoln Park Zoo announced its plans for ZooLights 2021 in a Members email. Below is excerpted info:
"Our 27th annual ZooLights Presented by ComEd and Invesco QQQ returns this winter, including two FREE Members-Only Nights on Friday, November 19 and Monday, December 13! Like last year, tickets are required for ZooLights. Secure your spot when tickets become available in mid-October. Also like last year, members will have special early access to tickets—one week before the general public.
ZooLights tickets are $5 per person Wednesday-Sunday and are free on Mondays and Tuesdays.
A key piece of feedback from last year was how guests appreciated a more intimate ZooLights experience, with fewer crowds. Maintaining a ticket price not only allows us to keep crowds at bay but will also cover the cost of producing the event—even with double the number of free nights from 2020.
ZooLights 2021 will feature new lighting concepts on the Main Mall and South Lawn, an enhanced Enchanted Forest experience, a stunning 18-foot holiday tree at the zoo’s new Pepper Family Wildlife Center, and the return of the Light Maze Presented by Invesco QQQ. Between 4 and 6:30 p.m. on November 29 and December 15, we will also offer sensory-friendly visit times where music and blinking or moving lights will remain static or turned off. "
The announcement did not include the dates of operation. If it follows the pattern of previous years, they will be from the day after Thanksgiving until around New Year's Day.
