Travel card?

Hello we are heading to Chicago soon flying into O'Hara. Please could you help me with travel to Comfort Suites Michigan Ave? Do we buy a travel card at the airport? We are going for 6 nights so assume it'd work cheaper this way.

Thank you.

https://www.transitchicago.com/fares/ - you can purchase it at the airport.

https://www.transitchicago.com/airports/ - blue line train to Clark/Lake. Walk or taxi from there to your hotel.

Google Maps for point to point transit and walking directions to anywhere you'll need to go.

Thanks for the link.

There's a lot of options there. Would I need the 7day cta? Or 7day pace? Do I need to buy the separate L traim fare from O'Hare or is this included in a pass? And do I need to buy a ventra card?

Thanks!

CTA is the agency that operates buses and "The L". It provides service within the city and a few adjacent suburbs. Ventra is the name of the transit card. It is valid on all CTA trains and buses. Pace is the suburban bus agency. If you will be spending all your time within Chicago, you won't be using Pace.

Treat the Ventra card as an Oyster card, once you have the card then you can load it with a pass or PAYG. It’s as easy to buy the Ventra card as it is to buy an Oyster. You don’t need to tap out, and Ventra works on buses as well.

How much travel you’re doing will determine if PAYG or the pass works out better.
