Difference between State Park and Silver Springs attraction

Point of clarification: Silver Springs State Park is the camping and recreation side of the area. Silver Springs "attraction" has it's own entrance and fee. If you stay at the campground you'll get in free at the attraction.

The glass bottom boat tours and restaurants are at the "attraction" area and the state park has view of the river as well as camping and trails.

From what I have heard they have now shut down the glass bottom boats too. Its a shame as its a beautiful park.

Please, the glass bottom boats are still in operation. There is even a 90 minute tour which runs Fri, Sat, and Sun. The 30 minute tours run daily even holidays. But check the website for hours because of time changes-short winter days, etc.

Thanks for posting the info. It had been rumored they were going to shut them down. Glad to hear they are still doing the glass bottom boats.
