Time to Orlando Airport

Looking at maps.google.com, they estimate about 2 hours to the Orlando Airport. Is this a good estimate do you think?

I suppose most people visiting St. Augustine probably fly in and out of Jacksonville...

Two hours is a good estimate, but be sure to take SR 417 & SR 528 once you get to Sanford. They're toll roads but have far less traffic than I-4, particularly at rush hour. As a result, you'll make better time. All tolls are payable in cash. Here is the toll road map: https:/…ExpressMap2009.pdf

Two hours is if everything goes right. I think there is still construction on I-4 after the I-95 on ramp, so it will depend on when your flights are.

I agree with the others -- it *should* only take 2 hours, but I'd be allowing 2-1/2 to 3, as Sod's Law dictates that there will only be traffic if you're cutting it close.

You are correct. Drove that way Friday afternoon and the construction is still ongoing (with reduced speed limits).

Thanks. We were only planning to allow 2 hours but we'll allow at least 2.5 hrs. to be safe.

Have done this a few times would leave 2.5-3hrs because of I-4 traffic and construction. If you have an early flight on a weekend should be ok for the 2 hr window.

You could also take I95S to 528 to the airport.

We allowed 3 hours and it only took us 2 hours - but better to be there early than miss the flight!
