Moving to Northeast Fl. Best central location to start ?

We are moving to Northeast Fl. We have done a lot of research online, now we are ready to come down and visit some of the areas, Jacksonville area, St. Augustine Area are two that we are looking at. Can you recommend a safe central location for our headquarters while we are looking? Also, any recommendations on the best areas in the northeast?

Thanks!

These relocation threads tend to be closed down by TA moderators as not being "travel related". If that happens, try here instead: fodors.com/community/united-states/florida/

You should reword you title to say visiting not moving. TA will remove your post as they don't allow relocation threads. You can also send a PM (private message) to local experts on the forum. Many will try to help if they can. Those 2 cites are completely different from each other. St. Augustine, historical and smaller. Jax is more a working mans town with some historical and beaches, more shopping and dining options. Depends on if you are looking for a retirement place to come to or if you are job oriented. You also have Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach which are nice small towns nearby.
