Palm Beach or Amelia Island?

I know they are apples and oranges but would love some input. I like the Hammock Beach Resort. Property looks great, pools look amazing. But....I also like a little town to walk in and around/shopping/etc. Amelia Island looks better with regard to that. We are a family of 4, kids are 11 and 12 and are active/love the water. We want an awesome hotel/pool and a little something to do at night. Where would you go? Thanks.

Sorry, not familiar with them. Palm Coast is indeed pretty spread out, with most of the town & services a few miles inland from Hammock Beach. Check out the reviews on TA - those may give you a sense of what each place is like. Enjoy!
