Can anybody recommend any hotels besides WDW from where you can see the fireworks displays?
Which fireworks are you interested in seeing and what. You will only ever see the higher level ones and can be seen miles away.
any of the firework displays
You can see fireworks from some of the higher floor rooms at the Hilton Palace, Disney Springs, same with the Disney Springs Holiday Inn (you will need to book room in the balcony, fireworks view category). Hilton Bonnet Creek is another option, Four Seasons, Wyndham Bonnet Creek - this property has a hotel (Wyndham Grand) and adjacent condo complex with fireworks view from some rooms and condos (it also has a great pool complex with 2 lazy rivers, 5 or 6 pools, multiple slides, splash pad - ref your other thread) and it’s actually right next door to disney’s Caribbean beach so very close to being onsite.
Onsite but non Disney, the Marriott owned Swan and Dolphin both have some rooms with fireworks view (either Epcot or HS depending which side of the hotel you are on). We stayed at the Dolphin fireworks view this past July, ended up with a pretty decent view of the HS Tower of Terror and Star Wars fireworks from our balcony.
We could see the Mickey's Halloween Party fireworks from our top level room in the new towers at Cabana Bay. It's a Universal Resort but pretty cheap (Ours was like $130 a night) and the hotel has a gigantic pool and lazy river. You must book a Volcano View room to see them.Edited: 16 November 2018, 20:27
We book a fireworks view room at the Holiday Inn DS when we stay there and always have a wonderful view of the MK fireworks-all of them, not just the "high ones". No music of course, but easy to see. You can also see them from in front of the hotel but not as good a view. Epcot , the Illuminations fireworks are very brief, just at the end of the show and you can see them from the Boardwalk area. You can also see the MK fireworks without being in a Disney resort room from the 4th floor observatory at the Contemporary, the TTC boat dock , the deck at Narcoossees and the beach at the Poly
FYI...The illuminations fireworks at EPCOT are not just at the end. That statement is false. They start about 1 minute and 15 seconds into the show,go off again around 7 minutes in,and are shot off at the end, which is about 14 minutes. I have no idea why a DE needs to post false information.
This is a spoiler which shows the entire show. it's about 15 minutes long. Enjoy,if you want to see something pretty.Especially if you don't plan on attending inside the park.
I don't know why disfaninnyc always insists on posting this regarding Illuminations. But it is not correct, there are fireworks throughout the show.
Maybe TA needs to reevaluate who the DEs are.
Because those aren't fireworks, they are part of the laser show. So many absurd bullies on this forum who seem never to have seen the show.
disfaninnyc , Never seen the show? I have worked for WDW since 2006 and have seen the show more times then you ever will. You are just plain wrong!
Quote " the Illuminations fireworks are very brief, just at the end of the show"
Complete & utter nonsense, can't you stop lying??...
Illuminations "start's" with firework burst, there are then fireworks through the show, with a grand finale finish..
Quote "So many absurd bullies on this forum who seem never to have seen the show."
Which "perfectly" describes you..
You constantly post there isn't which anyone who's not yet been, reading your stupid & incorrect posting will get the wrong impression..
Here's a suggestion, grow a pair & admit you got it wrong, but we all know you "NEVER" admit when you get it wrong..Oh & click on moose's link then you can see for yourself;-);-)
Agree with FLAJoe TA needs to reevaluate who the DEs are.
Because those aren't fireworks🙄🙄🤣🤣
