Disney Dining Plan with Virgin

Hi

I have the DDP free with Virgin. I have never used it before and have been trying to get my head around it but its causing more questions then answers that I hope you guys can help me with …..

My invoice says "Plan: Disney Dining Plan" so I guess that means the 'middle' one (not quick and not deluxe). (you lovely peeps will answer quicker than virgin I predict :-). )

I have reserved some sit down meals e.g. Rainforest Cafe Lunch at Animal Kingdom but my reservation says that the requirements are …… Dining 1 Deluxe Dining 1...… does that mean that it would use 2 sit down meals per person or that it would cost me extra? If so I think I may have to have a rethink about my reservations.

Thanks in advance

You get x table x QS & x snacks per person per day for your entire stay..

Most TS are 1 credit, some (signature restaurants) are 2 credits..

So if staying 14 nights, you’ll get 14 of each:-):-)

You can use them in any order you like..

So dine at Narcoossees is 2 TS credits, the next day use QS & snacks to get back to “even”..

Simple system & every time you use it, your receipt shows what’s left:-):-)

I would get most of my TS restaurants booked way before I go, walkups are virtually impossible nowadays..

Not a good thing to end your holiday with 5/6 unused TS because you couldn’t get in..

That’s one of the reasons not to miss some signature dining, it means you don’t have to have a TS meal everyday, but still use up your credits;-);-)

I'm at Animal Kingdom lodge too. Look at Boma and Sanna both one table credit but very highly recommend. I'm doing Boma for breakfast and dinner and Sanna for Dinner.

We are in animal kingdom for 5 nights and have booked

Coral Reef Restaurant Lunch

A Buffet with Character Lunch at The Crystal Palace

Sanaa Dinner

I might cancel crystal palace 1st then have a think.

Have you used DDP previously?
