Swimming

I might be taking a trip to Naples over Easter week, the first week of April, and I’m wondering about the water temperature for swimming. Do people swim and frolick in the water or is it too cold for that?

Thanks,

Andy

People swim and lounge in the water. It's kind of cool for many of us but you can definitely get in and enjoy the gulf.

depends on whether you're a local or a visitor -- you won't find locals in the water this time of year, but no shortage of people from up north who think that 65-degree water is awesome.

I was down in Naples two weeks ago. We (Idaho people) enjoyed the water, and it wasn't cold, but it was a warm day. I can see it being chilly if it was windy or colder out. We had temps around mid 80s.
