We are boating for the first time via inland from Naples to Marco Island and back. Do you have any restaurant suggestions for lunch where we can tie up the boat?

Thanks.

Snook Inn on Marco River ... some days tougher than others.

Isles of Capri restaurants ... Capri Fish House, Pelican Bend, Gypsy ... easier tying up than Snook Inn.

Just curious how long was the round trip? What was your major route?

Thinking of doing same. Thanks!

I think it took about 90 min. following speeds limits. You could take 3 or 4 hours if you just put along.

We did it a few times. We rented a pontoon and took the intercoastal to Marco. We fished along the way, enjoyed seeing dolphins, eagles and stopped at a beach to swim. We ate at the Snook Inn and yes it is difficult to dock there because of the current. We tried another restaurant another time ( can't recall the name ), we were the only people there. We usually vacation in September. Both trips we hit the Florida afternoon rain around 3:30. One trip included alot of lightning. We were told we could not take the pontoon out on the open water in the Gulf. It was a fun time and we would do it again.
