Thanks for the update. I have been in contact with Hyatt Concierge on Twitter and they have twice said that Coconut Plantation will re-open today - 9/22. I just called (9:30 a.m.) and it still appears to be closed.

We are going in July. How far away are the timeshares from the lazy river? We are trying to decide if we should book a timeshare or just a hotel room. We have 2 little kids with us.

If you like the option of being able to cook, have separate rooms from the living area, etc, I would definitely suggest the Condo. We have stayed there twice in the last 3 years with plans to go again this June. We have 2 teenagers and they love it all-beach & pools.
