AC in August needed?

Hi All,

Wondering if we would need AC in Snowmass during our august trip. I found one condo with AC but it’s a bit small. If it’s going to be uncomfortable in the nights, I think we will opt for that one. Feedback appreciated. Thank you.

The nights are cool, even in August- high 40's low 50's. The situation requiring ac in the evening is more likely to be if we have wildfire smoke.

It works the same way as you asked in Breckenridge

As mentioned, the normal lows are in the 40s, so generally AC is not needed.

One can open a couple windows and get cross ventilation or some places have exhaust fans to suck in the cool air/blowout warm air.

A family member put air conditioning in their snowmass condos, but as mentioned, mostly to filter out the smoke if there are forest fires.

Enjoy ...
