Lodging recommendation for family of 4

Hi

I'm looking for a lodging recommendation for a family of 4 (kids ages 10 and 5) for one night only - August 24. We will be driving from Estes to Breckenridge so it's to break up the trip and see that side of the park.

Grand Lake Lodge has some half-cabins but some of the reviews say they are very small and not worth the price. Anyone have recommendations? It's a weekend so some places might require two nights. Some place where we can walk to town would be great but if parking isn't an issue a short drive is also fine. Thanks.

Western Riviera is actually in town. Gateway Inn is on the edge of town, not really walking distance depending on your definition. Rapids Lodge is on the other side of town but is closer to shops and restaurants than Gateway Inn. This walking map shows these locations in relation to the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre which is close to the center of town.
