Transportation to Denver Int. Airport

What’s the most economical way other than a shuttle that picks you up 4 hrs early to travel to and from the airport? Even better if I could leave my car somewhere close to the airport when I’m visiting Frisco....live in another state and not in CO too often. Thanks!

OP, Is there some reason why you don't just drive to Frisco? It's really not a bad drive, unless you are going in the winter and are concerned about snow.

Have you checked the schedules of Summit Express, Mountain Shuttle, Fresh Tracks Transportation, and Colorado Mountain Express?

Bustang will get you to Union Station, then you can take the A line train from there.

Long term airport parking isn't cheap. There a number of parking companies. These guys say they're $5.95 a day: https:/…denver-airport-parking I've not used them. I usually use Wally Park, but they're at least double that. And if I'm going to be gone more than a few days I don't park at all and use Uber or Lyft.

RTD also offers parking up to 30 days for at park and ride lots for $4 a day. It is a hard 30 day limit, though: http://www.rtd-denver.com/HowToPark.shtml

You seem to also be wanting convenience. Low prices and convenience rarely go together.

Somehow this doesn't make sense to me and maybe you can clarify. If you are thinking of leaving a car at the airport, it seems to indicate you're driving. Is there some reason you can't drive to Frisco? This is going to get really complex and expensive - far more than just driving your car to Frisco, which is about 90 minutes from the airport on a four to six lane interstate.

Have fun.

The cheapest long term parking I am aware of is under the solar panels on 61st and Pena. The kicker is you have to pre-pay. If you are going to be longer then you will get stuck with a ticket (or tow if long?) I really like this parking option because after receiving $6000 once, and another few thousand another time, in hail damage to my vehicle I always use covered parking now. The light rail is right there and for a few bucks you jump on and in a few minutes the next stop is the airport. https://www.flydenver.com/penastation

Thank you for the response! It sounds like what we are looking for...our situation is we recently bought a condo in Breckenridge and a used car to travel to and from Denver airport....may not get there but once every 2 months...maybe more but want to leave the car in Denver when we are not there. Sounds like you are familiar with the area...does this sound like a good plan? Thanks!
