Yountville hotel advice, please

We are traveling to Napa Valley in October and trying to decide on which place to stay. All of our restaurant choices are in Yountville so it seems to make sense to stay there. Narrowed down to Hotel Yountville, Hotel Luca, Napa Valley Lodge, or Vintage Inn. Stayed at Villagio ten years ago and loved it but looking for somewhere different. Concerned about road noise and hotel noise, which I have heard can be an issue at some properties. Any advice on which to choose is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PPP-

Have you checked availability? Most of the hotels/B&Bs in the Napa Valley tend to book up weeks in advance for Aug-Oct (harvest time)-- and you're looking for a place just a few days/weeks out!

If you're still seeing availability, you may want to grab it. Chances are these places are down to their last few rooms.

We get calls every day this time of year from people who have spent *hours* (not kidding--hours-- making call after call) to find a place to stay. They had no idea that harvest time was so busy, so they waited until the last few weeks to book-- and are now not finding anything.

All of the properties you list are wonderful-- all are slightly different. We're assuming you've read the reviews-- they do a great job outlining the differences. Hotel Luca is quite new, and Hotel Yountville is a complete remodel of a property (they just finished this year). Villagio has also added on substantially since you last stayed there.

Hoping this helps. :)

We've stayed at Villagio as well and loved it. We recently stopped by for a cocktail at Bardessono and it looked amazing. I'm on their email list and just received a 72 Hour Sale email which ends tomorrow but either way it looks like it's worth the expense if you want a top spot! https:/…

We stayed at Bardessono and were very impressed. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, ours had a balcony where we enjoyed watching the hot air balloons launch in the morning. Fireplaces, spacious bathrooms with lots of counter space, etc. The rooftop pool is wonderful, we used it twice during our stay. You can walk to all of the great restaurants from this property, also. Enjoy your time in the wine country! :)
