Hi,

Hopefully somebody might come along with ideas for alternative parking, I do not know that area .But just for budgeting purposes almost all hotels in cities in the U.S. charge for parking, motels general do not. And $27/ night is cheap. In New York, San Francisco and other big citeis it will be more than double that.

Dude, that's cheap!

That is a very affluent area. I am not aware of any alternative parking options near the hotel.

It's pretty annoying because there is parking everywhere. There is plenty of street parking, but they got it zoned for no overnight parking. The giant lot at the dunes will be practically empty overnight, but I think they still charge 20. There's street parking on bayside dr, but that's about a mile walk.

Parking fees are just part of the cost of doing business with hotels.

I simply plug the cost of parking into my nightly budget.

$27 is cheap by OC/LA standards.

There is no place close by to park for free or even cheaper overnight.

Just park at the hotel. $27/day is not expensive for coastal California. The parking ticket and/or towing fees for parking in a prohibited space would be far higher.

Question /// Does this hotel have a parking fee AND a resort fee? I'm seeing it listed on Expedia.ca and it says both. Can someone confirm?

Thanks!

There's absolutely no free alternative unless you want to park in a neighborhood quite far away and take a Lyft or Uber. You could park at John Wayne Airport's Main Street lot for $14 a day and take the free shuttle to and from the hotel, but then why even rent a car?

$27 per night is not cheap. The previous poster probably works for the hotel. That's outrageous.
