I'm a afraid of heights but am staying a Hotel in Crestline. What is the best route to take that is not too steep on the ride up. Thanks!

As the name implies, access to Crestline is basically all uphill. Not to worry.... keep your eyes on the road and you won’t even notice.

A better question here.... why are you staying in Crestline?? Is this just for a weekend of solitude or are you sightseeing from that location?

I'm also going to ask why you are staying in Crestline. It's not the nicest area in the San Bernardino mountains.

I get major anxiety driving up the Rim of the World Highway (Highway 18), so I like to take the back way (Highway 138). It's pretty flat and open until the very last bit, which is twisty and turny but is not on the rim of the world (i.e., no drop-offs)!
