Looking for Cambria Hotel/B &B/Lodging in town

Hi there,

I'm in need of some recommendations for lodging in the village/town of Cambria. We don't want to stay on Moonstone Beach. We prefer to stay in town and be in short walking distance from shops restaurants etc. We will be visiting in July. A hotel, B &B or nice motel would be preferred.

Thank you in advance.

Creekside Inn, Olallieberry Inn, Squibb House, Cambria Palms.

Squibb House is right on Burton Drive where several shops and eateries are located. The others are on Main Street and a short walk away from shops and eateries, but in a less congested area, at least as far as foot traffic goes.

Squibb House is the historical property - a restored old home right in the heart of town and nice gardens.

I agree with Kibbles09 with your options - BlueBird Motel is in the main part of town on Main Street but is a basic, clean nice property - not quite the same character as the B&B's.

Cambria Pines Lodge and El Colibri are two other very nice places to stay not on Moonstone Beach Drive. :).

Cambria Pines Lodge is excellent but not right in town. You'll have to walk down and up a hill that's quite steep.
