Srinagar -Gilmarg-Pahalgam in March

we are planning do the srinagar-gulmarg-pahalgam trip in the first week of march.Will it be too cold ? we are from kerala .Will the roads be snow logged?

can we see the sights at Pahalgam??

March will be chilled in Kashmir, there are chances of occasional rain also. Temperature would be around 20 degC / minus 3 degC. However, the roads will be open. You can visit Aru, Betaab Valley, Baisaran in Pahalgam.

Its rainy season in March in Kashmir, so bring in warm clothes as it can sometimes snow also, the roads will be open .

yes During march you can stay in phalagam even today but you have to stay in central heated hotels

March end would have better weather. There will be snow around Gulmarg. Temperature would be around 14°C/4°C. Winter garments will be needed, incl gloves, covered cap. Good quality well-gripped shoes to be taken.

hai , buster2983, we are from andhra pradesh. we ( 2+2 kids8 and 6 years) r planning the kashmir trip from mar 29th Jammu to 3rd apr. i booked blooming dale hotel from 30th evening to 3rd morning. If u r also planning in the same date u can contact chalapathi.avs@gmail.com.

My itenerary as follows.

Mar29th - 6:30am - Jammu - katra -Jammu

Mar30th - Srinagar- Evening check in hotel blooming dale

Mar31st- Srinagar-gulmarg-srinagar

Apr1st-Srinagar-pahalgam-srinagar

Apr2nd - Srinagar local sight seeing

arp3rd - leaving to Delhi
