I believe that box is a very small village so probably does not have any hotels / B&B's - do you really need to stay in village itself or could it be in one of the surrounding towns/villages.

Be aware that you will probably also need access to your own transport - preferably motorised as it is very hilly round there !

Thank you for the advice re transport. I will hire a car from Stroud. As to accommodation, I'm a writer so I plan to stay a while and mix with the locals. Box is the village in my most recent novel, so most of my research will be there. This site might bring forth a b&b or a room or a cottage in Box so I will continue to check the forum. Cheers.
