i-40 snow - road conditions

We will be driving i-40 from Barstow to Williams and back, over Thanksgiving holidays. In case of snow, do we need snow chains for driving the i-40?

Thanks in advance

The roads should be fine. No chains required.

They are saying snow but the roads should be fine just watch the 15 mile streach called ashfork hill its steep between Ashfork and Williams but other than that it should be fine. Its suppose to be cold starting Wed night. You can check out www.azcentral.com beforeyou leave.
