Route from Williams to Vegas?

What is the best route to take to get to Vegas? Would like a scenic route. Any must see things along the way?

There's really only one way to go, unless you have a few days to make the trip. I-40 west to Kingman and 93 north to Hoover Dam and on to LV.

In Williams there is an animal rescue place called Bearizonia. We very much liked seeing all the animals.

Then there is Kingman. You can buy a combo ticket to see both the Mohave Museum and Route 66 Museum. IN the Route 66 Museum there is also an electric car museum. Both are very interesting. There is a free railroad park across from the Route 66 Museum. Kingman also has a distillery, winery, a historic home, and a model train layout (for a fee) at the Amtrak station.

An hour east of Kingman is also the skywalk area of the Grand Canyon. Its a Native American area versus a tax funded national park, so its a bit pricy. We liked going out on Skywalk though.

From Kingman, you can drive the pass (Seligman) to get to Oatman.

Oalman is touristy but fun old west tour with wild burros. They are so cute.

Then continue north to Laughlin. There is a dam there as well as several river casinos.

Drive north and you will see Hoover Dam before your arrival in Las Vegas.

You can drive Kingman to Oatman on to Laughlin.

Then in Searchlight, cut across to I-15 via Nipton and the Wee Thump Joshua Tree Wilderness. This route parallels the boundary of the Mojave Preserve.

Once on I-15, at Jean, you have the option to head out to Goodsprings to see the Pioneer Saloon, one of the oldest bars in Nevada. Also near Jean is the Seven Magic Mountains art installation.

That route is close to 300 miles, and will take the better part of a day with stops.
