Easter Brunch or Dinner

Just realized we will be in Scottsdale for Easter.....should have bought tickets for the Diamondbacks on this day, rather than Saturday.....

Would I be correct in saying that most business would be closed?

We will be staying at the Fire Sky and have a rental car.

Can you recommend a good place for Easter Brunch or Dinner?

Thanks,

Cheryl

Just got off the phone with Executive Chef Todd's office at the Arizona Biltmore. They are not only going to do the traditional brunch all long time residints know and love, but Chef Todd is cooking up some new goodies for the buffet! It will be held in the Frank Lloyd Wright Ballroom from 11 to 4 so you have plenty of time to gorge, walk around the beautiful grounds and then come back for more.

Are Aunt Chilada's and Rustler Roost owned by the same people?

I was thinking about hiking early in the morning and then maybe going to one of these places for Brunch - they look like they ahve a fun atmoshphere.

Anybody have any opinions about either of these restaurants?

Thanks,

Cheryl

If these restraunts aren't owned by the hotel corporation, they are certainly controlled by them to a certain extent.

Aunt Chilada's is an somewhat entertaining middle-of-the-road Mexican restaurant. Rustler's Rooste is a cowboy steak and beans joint. I can't imagine either of them for Easter brunch.

Just down the road is "Top of the Rock" at the Phoenix Marriott Tempe at The Buttes. Which is a mouthful. They will be having brunch from 10:30 to 5:00 and will have all the goodies. In addition, they will have an Easter bunny passing out goodies to the kids from his basket! It's only a little over a mile away from where you are talking about.Plus they have a great view.
