Transit visa

I am travelling from Delhi (DEL) to Cape town (CPT) via route

Delhi (DEL) to Addis Ababa (ADD);

Addis Ababa (ADD) to Johnnesburg (JNB);

Johnnesburg (JNB) to Cape town (CPT)

Connecting flight time is less than 2.30 hrs at ADD & JNB airports.

Pl suggest whether I need any transit visa at Addis Ababa and Johnnesburg airports.

Have no idea about Addis, check with their authorities about transit visa requirements

.

If you are travelling on an Indian passport / are an Indian citizen, then you need a tourist visa to enter South Africa, not a "transit visa".

On arrival at Johannesburg, you will have to go through immigration/baggage claim, etc, because this is your first port of entry into South Africa, and you will not be "in transit".

Then, you need to re check for your domestic flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

2.5 hours interval, is possible, between incoming international, and outgoing domestic flights, BUT the recommended gap is 3 hours, which is less stressful.
