The beach at Camps Bay...

Hi

We will be staying around the Camps Bay area in Feb 2012 and are just deciding whether we want to stay somewhere that has a pool, or whether to just be at the beach there most days. I just wondered, does anyone know, on the beach, do they have any sun beds that you can rent at all? If so, do you know what sort of price it is?

Thanks

Katie

Hi Katie

Staying somewhere with a pool is your best option as the beach can get VERY busy at that time of the year. There are sun beds for rental. Not sure of the cost but remember thinking last time i rented one that its expensive to do so. Writers tip: Book your accommodation asap as Camps Bay is getting fuller by the day - Literally :)

In February you won’t have too much trouble renting a sun lounger and parasol. If it’s windy you simply go to Clifton 3rd or 4th beach – but generally the winds should have died down in February and it is HOT!
