Pyrotechnics in February

Had seen this event advertised in years past, and have wanted to go enjoy a few days of fireworks. About ready to reserve an RV space at the rodeo grounds for Feb 2018. Need to reserve for the full week, but really planning on just being there from Friday afternoon they Sunday night. Any event or RV camping tips for this event would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This event is awesome, and we are glad to hear you plan to enjoy the fun! Camping spots fill up quickly, so it's good that you are making your reservations now. Following is an except from the event posting that provides good information about RV camping at SARA Park, and should answer your questions.

"Camping at the Rodeo Grounds

Camping was full by January 7 for the 2017 event. You’re urged to reserve early!

Dates: February 13-20, 2018

Cost: $150 for a full week of dry camping

Website: www.havasurodeo.com

Contact: Sandi Nagel 928-208-2093

The only spectator camping allowed inside SARA Park during the week of Western Winter Blast. Come early and spend the week. Enjoy the Pyrotechnics show each night from your RV or in the comfortable grandstands. Large, clean restrooms and a friendly group of volunteers to help you enjoy your stay. Bring your own food and enjoy a live band on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, or let the staff cook for you. You can opt for the big Saturday BBQ or a weekend meal pass for Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Contact Friends of the Fair for more information. Please make reservations ON-LINE ONLY"

Additionally, the two links below will take you to two different event sites for more information. Should you have other questions, contact information is identified as well.

Thanks! Reservations made, and 2 other friends with RV's are joining us also, all first-timers to the Winter Blast. Very much looking forward to meeting a whole new group of people, too!

Had a blast for 4 nights! The facility and people were very accommodating, and we're already planning on returning next year! Lake Havasu City should be proud of the staff and everyone involved from the pyro experts to the campground check in, and the workers keeping the rodeo grounds clean. Top notch event, great job everyone!
