Non alcoholic cocktails. No non alcholic beer or wine, it is not allowed to be sold in Turkey.

I love Pomegranate juice. They sell in in MIgros Supermarkets in the freezers, in plastic bottles, so when you buy it and it starts to defrost, it is a lovely ice cold drink.

Also pom juice mixed with fresh orange juice is lovely too.

FIZZY ("gazoz" from "gazeuse" meaning "effervescent")

Beyoğlu Zencefilli Gazoz (sort of a mix between ginger ale and lemonade)

Çamlıca Gazoz (quite sweet, also available sugar-free, which I prefer). Çamlıca also has other lemondae based drinks with added flavours such as apple or melon, which I've never tried)

STILL

Fruit nectars such as apricot, sour cherry, peach. Cappy is the brand I would recommend.

Pomegranate juice (fresh) is delicious, but I wonder where they're getting it, as it's completely out of season.

There is plenty of choice in supermarkets (lots of different ice tea flavours - the mango/tropical fruit one is my favourite) but limited choice in bars.

G.G. Read my post 6. They have it all the time in Migros in the freezer cabinets... love it. I have a Turkish friend who puts it in Gin 😊
