Boat trip

Hi all, we are coming to Dalyan 16th September for 2 weeks. We did a fab boat trip years ago from marmaris with 10 of us as a private few families group. Me & hubby are coming alone and we fancy a small boat trip ..we've been to dalyan 4 yrs on the run now & not done one yet..apart from the lovely trips to the market & beach. Any suggestions please? X

Without a doubt you need to be in touch with Akay Uysal, and his boat Simay3. We’ve been on dozens of trips with him for many years and he’s the most amazing host. We recommend friends to him and they also become repeat clients. From moonlight trips to full day journeys, he looks after you from the minute you step on board to the minute you step off. A true gentleman, and his bbq and food are amazing! He’s on trip advisor so check out his reviews. He’s also on Facebook and if you need his mobile number just let us know.

Great!, will check it out, thanks Sandorp. We don't necessarily want just us 2 on the boat but a small number would be fab.

I've booked with volkan. They never do more than 15 on a boat which is good and they've been so helpful.

I highly recommend Volkan's adventures or Dalyan Mesut's boat.

Both have websites and Facebook pages.

Hi. Akay can do both shared and private trips, so you’ll be fine either way. 😀

If you want to experience something traditional Turkish then try the wooden gulet Günay1 12 island sailing trip out of Gocek (30 minutes from Dalyan)

Ingrid and Ramazan, the owners are wonderful people and Günay1 is there home and by the end of the day you feel it is yours to.

You are collected from Dalyan by minibus and taken to Gocek, after complimentary coffee/tea (hot drinks & water are included all day) whilst departing the harbour, you are then served a traditional organic Turkish breakfast with produce from the family farm. A late lunch/early dinner of BBQ meats and a meze of dishes is also served. If you should get hungry in the meantime!, nuts, fruit and Turkish delight are available all day. The ethos of the trip is to be at one with nature so you sail as often as you can, anchor in the quietest, remotest bays Ramazan can find for swim stops and there is no music we did have Dolphins swim alongside the boat on one trip.

Towels, noodles and snorkelling equipment are all provided.

Two trips of different duration are offered and I would recommend the longer trip where you watch the sun set before going back into the harbour.

The trips are restricted to a maximum of 12 people and there is plenty of space in the shade and in the sun, cabins to change in and even catch a quick snooze!

We are doing our fifth trip on Günay1 at the start of October.

Hi, we did the Gunay 1 special tour on Friday and it was incredible! Ingrid and Ramadan and the crew could not do enough for you and the food on the boat is so fresh (from their farm) and delicious. Highly recommend, you honestly won’t be disappointed :)
