Going to Rarotonga in December

Have people been to Raro in mid December?

I have read it can be rainy around Dec - March...

What were your experiences? Thanks :)

Kia Orana Anna 7 Tom,

Welcome to our Cook Islands forum.

While it can be wetter during summer from Nov to April - it certainly is unpredictable. Last December we prayed for rain - a very long dry spell was experienced around Raro. Just cant tell, being a tropical maritime nation.

i guess one mans prayer is another mans pain!

It's our honeymoon so we'll book regardless and hope for a nice mixture of everything.

Thanks :)

That's the spirit! The Cook Islands is a marvellous and safe destination for a honeymoon. And since it's your honeymoon trip, I'm sure the rain won't dampen your spirits in any case. Cheers - ka kite.
