Aitutaki accommodation family of 4

Hi guys,

We are a family with 2 teenage sons 13 & 14 and can't find anywhere to stay on Aitutaki in June this year. It all seems booked out.

A resort with 2 rooms seems beyond our budget and we would prefer self catering.

We'd welcome any suggestions you may have!

Cheers

HI, I know of a family that booked two of the small units at Ranganui Retreat with the parents in one unit and the kids in the one next door. It's on the beach and self contained.

Tamanu Beach has 1 bedroom lagoon view rooms that are big enough to take four. We stayed in these last year with our two teen boys and we were quite comfortable (roomy enough) it is not self catering and may be beyond your budget, but if you are getting desperate it may be worth a look. It does come with breakfast and there are cheaper dining options nearby.

Look at Paradise Cove www.paradisecove.co.ck/ and book two little shacks - one for you and one for the kids. That's what we did

If you think of it as one step up from camping you will be happy! We found them comfortable and even managed to cook a few meals. I would suggest you do take food supplies from Rarotonga - things can be hard to find in Aitutaki.
