Nanu resort south Goa

We wondered if someone may be able to answer the following couple of questions please.

We are going to stay at the Nanu in Nov/Dec and want to know (well, my wife does) if the rooms have a telly, hair dryer, kettle and an Iron.

We normally stay at the Majorda but our budget this year took us to the Nanu which i am pleased to read is, a great place to stay and we are very much looking forward to it.

We aim to just walk along the beach to our favourite shack at Majorda (The Camron), stay there all day and night and waddle back to the Nanu.

Any help will be very much appreciated

Rooms have telly, but no hair dryer, kettle or iron, as far as I know. The new and revamped (ie deluxe) rooms have fridges, but if there are still any un-revamped ones, they don't have a fridge.

The laundry service there is really excellent, so we just send everything to the laundry on a daily basis and it comes back the following day.

It's about a 20 minute walk along the beach to Majorda. Not sure I'd recommend walking back along there late at night. There are a number of shacks by the Nanu that are just as good as any others I've tried elsewhere, plus there are a couple of restaurants up in Betalbatim village, but it's about a 10-15 minute walk.

Taxis are plentiful, if expensive - but you'll know all about that if you normally stay at the Majorda.

Food at the Nanu is bland and in about 10 stays I think we only ate there two or three times - shacks were much better value (even though it's half board these days) and food was much better. Breakfast is good. Waiters are lovely, and loads of them have been there for years.

We don't stay there any more because we want to go for odd periods of time (three weeks, or three and a half weeks). If you're not on a package deal the Nanu is hideously expensive. Last time I enquired, which I think was last year, it was about £55 a night, which, frankly, is ridiculous. I still call in to see the staff that I know.
